yea it is behind the engine cover .. towards the back left if ur facing the car. (near the battery) u'll see it. u will need a 10mm socket and a extension.. just screw it off then it will pull out.. are u doin a tranny service. if ur just doin a drain and refill. just get 4 quarts.. thats all u need.. 17 quarts is if ur gonna flush it completely and do it... and the bottom of the trans there is a bolt i think its 19mm just drain it then add 3 quarts then start the car let it idle for about 2 mins . run it through the gears then while its running check the dip stick and add whatever the dipstick says.. if its full then leave it if its not then add some more.. but its ok to put the full 4 qts in it. i just did mine today. i goto a automotive school. so don't worry i know wat im doin haha lol.. but yea.. goodluck with that.. and if u got any questions let me know
oh yea MOST IMPORTANT.. YOU MUST i mean MUST USE THE NISSAN's TRANS FLUID. NEVER EVER USE OTHER BRANDS IT WILL AFFECT YOUR TRANSMISSION.

Thanks for your valuable information. The Transmission oil is a bit harder to spot compare to the engine oil. No, I am not doing anything with the oil service, just want to see where and what underneath my hood. I always thought the transmission oil would have a stick just like the engine oil, I guess not!
