Drive My Car

I have a 2006 coupe 6mt with 600 miles. When I first got the car, everything thing seemed smooth, tight and solid. Now the car feels shaky, clutch chatter, power delivery is not smooth (blips throughout rpms), shifts not engaging smoothly and noise(rattles) in the cabin are getting a lot worse. I've driven stick ever since my first car 5 years ago so I know how to drive a stick well. I was wondering if anybody in san jose / santa clara area would be willing to drive my car and let me drive their car to see if theres any difference. If you don't feel comfortable about me driving your car then just drive my car to see if anything is out of ordinary. Im getting alittle bit stressed out about this so if anybody would be willing to help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks

BASE ACURA TLX NOW WANT A G35 AGAIN THOUGH
have you considered taking it to the dealer to have a tech test drive it?
you're still going through the break-in period so i'd say if this issue is still going on past 1,000miles (suggested oil change), then there is definitely a problem..

where are you in SJO? I'm in SF so it's a little out of my ways to head out that way....

I'm in Santa clara. i have a 05 6mt and we can set up a time to swap driver. I had similar concern, brought my to Frontier Infiniti. They said everything is fine. I'm a little unhappy that a 35k car make all these noises. My G occasionally knock (ping) too, and I only use 91.

This might be a long shot, but listening closely when your car is pinging. Might it be a rear axle rattle that you are hearing? The rear axle clicking/rattling seems to be common and there is a TSB fix for it. I had mine fixed.

I have that same problem, I had the Rear axel TSB done, but still hear it some times. I took my car in to another dealership today, to get something else done, and had the tech listen to this "rattle/Ping" noise. the tech confirmed that it was actually pinging. this only happens for a brief moment. the tech said that it is normal and its stated in the manual. He explained it like, when the ecu senses pinging, the timing gets retarded to stop the pinging. that's why you only hear if really briefly. Can anyone confirm this?
