The complex as you can see, is pretty new, probably less than a year old, there arent much of groceries shoping around, the Safeway is about 3/4 mile down south and there is other Safeway across street from Santa Row, and nothing much for fast food either, right next door is Toys R us and movie theater is right next to it, the surrounding area isnt the best but I dont think you will too much trouble as the complex are close-in with fence and gates,.

Still dont think its good idea walking to and from Santa row after dark, especially if you are bit buzzed, I dont see many cabs around, none actually, I didnt see any bums around but there are couple of ppl waiting at bus stop which right in fornt of the complex

HEY HEY that aint right Need to take mine pics down, BMW without Navi is GHETTO?

Dont think its good idea to walk back by yourself, cus you have to walk cross an freeway overpass but can be sure how safe it is, you just have to try it out yourself or I am sure Cru is more than willing to hold your hands

Shane...WOW. I can not thank you enough! I really appreciate you going out of your way to check the place out. I think more than a few rounds are in order!

The complex is brand new, the apartment I'm looking at has never been lived in. The surrounding area doesn't look too bad, except for that one pic looking down the alley way. I think it looks pretty good, what was your impression? Is this somewhere you could live comfortably?

The rent is 1400 for a 1br/1ba about 700 sqf (So it's not too cheap).

I'm from San Diego, where everything is realatively new (1980's and above). We don't have too many areas with chain link fences in their front yard, so I'm not sure if this is common in San Jose or not.

If you don't recommend this complex, are there any other ones your would?

Again, THANKS!!!! for your help. If you ever decide to move to san diego I can tell you whatever you need to know!

honestly, i don't think that's a bad area at all. its near a big street. you have private parking. I go down that area quite a bit, and i dont' feel in any way unsafe. I think you're fine. There's no such thing as a "good" neighborhood... bad things will happen regardless of where you are. its just a matter of how often bad things happen. catch my drift? when will you be moving? what will you be doing at Apple... oh.. don't forget to check out V-Bar @ santana row.

YES, I would live there without hesitation, the complex itself is brand new and its fenced in, and I did walk aorund two blocks in all directions, dont think you will have much trouble but during the night might be different story, thats why I said walking to and from Santa Row isnt best idea. When I get a chance? I will go down there after dark and see how it is.

Note, the first building(#1) isnt inside the gate so I would stay out of that building, besides its right next to a very busy street with all the traffic noise.

The place I'm looking at is overlooking the pool, so I can get down there if there are any pretty girls tanning Hey man, I can't thank you enough, I really appreciate what you did. PM me your contact info and when I get up there we'll go out. You can show me the spots.

Fini...I will be working in the Ipod department. It's a QA Engineer with an emphasis on Accessories. Pretty cool stuff as you get to work wiht the newest gadgets all the time. I'm really excited to work for them. Working for Nokia has been great, but I'm ready to move out of telecommunications for a while. Plus I want to experience some different areas.
