how long did it take for you to receive the money after you sent the claim in?

pothole

You make the claim through the county or city depending what kind of road your were on. It's happened to me before in my truck and i've broken ball joints. They WILL pay for your vehicle damage and the pothole will be fixed within a day or two after that. So contact the Department of Transportation in your area and find out who funds the highway you were driving on.

Yep the tire and they fixed the pothole abour 4 days later.

FYI:
If it's damage from the fwys. Call CALTRANS asap to file a claim.
As us north bay ppl know...I80 is riddled with potholes. It's like driving through a mine field, especially this last winter
