Fuel Leaking

Driving home today I smelled gasoline and when I got home there was gas dripping out from under the gas tank by the rear of the passenger side skirt. Looked like it was leaking pretty fast so I called Infiniti of K****** and it was after service had closed. The lady I spoke to on the phone basically said I was sh*t outta luck and referred me to Nissan of the Eastside to park my car there over night. I was concerned since fuel was leaking out and I live in teh U-District with no garage and people always smoke by my driveway. Long story short, the lady at Infiniti told me the best thing she could do was advise not to light a match near the car overnight! I was pissed, but will have to wait until the morning and hope there's enough gas to get it goin. Hopefully the fuel hose recall will cover this.

You know Infiniti of Tacoma has a Night drop off, so if you tow it they can drop it off at the Fife dealership... but I dunno if you want to travel that far

Ouch man, that sucks. And it happened on your birthday too If you decide to drop your car off at IoK or IoT let me know, I can give you a ride back to your place if you need it.

Well took the car in this morning to Kirkland and turns out that a hose connected to the pump had come apart. Chris Beupree helped me out as he always does and I was in and out in 20 minutes tops. I'd have to say though that I'm very unimpressed by Infiniti of Kirkland's receptionist customer service. But Chris treated me great again and I'm no longer getting headaches or noxious when I drive more than 20 min .
