I checked out Canlis winelist. . .you can download it online! SWEETNESS!

If you guys are ever in Colorado, be sure and go here:
http://www.flagstaffhouse.com/

Sounds like it's semi-on-par with Canlis. Although the Flagstaff House winelist is 160 pages!

Dang! I was looking for some of my favorite wines (Norman Vineyards, Paso Robles. If you like "man wines" you should try "the Monster!") and found another one that I had when I was tasting down there:

Tablas Creek Espirit de Beaucastle. . .I got a bottle of '97 while there for $18. They want $85 for a 2002?!

I guess you have to pay for the view somehow.

I'm always tempted when I go to nice places like that to ask for bottle of Berringer or Sutter Home white zin.

Or better yet, I should start asking if they have any "boxes of wine."

HAHAHAH!

nice place. Looks really nice.

I was checking them out long time ago on the web and never got to go there. So far the best restaurant I have being at is the Space Needle restaurant. Best Food Eva.
What is the dress code in that place?

My 5th anniversary coming up in September 7th. I was thinking of renting exotic car or something and just drive around town and dine at some nice place.

Anyone know any exotic car rentals here in the area?

Just wear a suit and have your wife wear a dress, no such thing as overdressed at Canlis. Jeans and stuff aren't allowed.

You can rent an exotic car at Park Place in Bellevue (car dealership)

As for the Space Needle, I haven't been there yet, but I am going there in July with my wife's company for a party.... should be fun!

Thanks! Yeah Herbfarm sounds really good. My brother went there for his 2 year anniversary in April. He loved it. A mini-meet @ Herbfarm sounds like plan :-)

Agreed, Canlis is fantastic. Their winelist is touted as one of the best in the state. I paid a small cork fee and brought in a bottle I had cellared for years. Was perfect. The only negative feedback was the fact that I had to valet my car. There's really no place to park otherwise.

Heard good things about the herbfarm. Not sure why I haven't made the attempt to go there since there's a microsoft discount (two for one).
