last night my fiance and i went to canlis to celebrate our 5th anniversary. omg, best meal of my life. the canlis prawns, salad and wagyu steaks were AMAZING. the flourless lava cake was very impressive too. not cheap @ $300 for the night, but very memorable. the only thing that would have made it better would have been a break in the clouds to see mt. rainier. hope you all get a chance to eat there soon.
WOW Dude never heard of that place! Looks amazing! My wife & I are going to be celebrating our 1 year anniversary June 17th... maybe I will make a reservation here.
Sweet deal! (and congrats vstrizheus!) My wife and I have a June 2nd date. . .maybe I'll check this place out too.

i didn't book the cache room b/c it was already taken for that night. if you want it, book NOW. it will go quickly if it hasn't already. it is a very nice room and provides a very intimate dining experience. we ended up enjoying dining in the main area as we had some entertaining tables around us. the couple next to us was celebrating their 24th anniversary.
make sure your ladies go check out the bathroom. my fiance told me it was pretty cool and there's a lookout on to a garden.
we had some leftovers too and i made sure my fiance didn't give any leftover wagyu to the dog... she enjoyed it the next day for lunch.

Salish has a good uppity nosed restaurant, we had our wedding there and we plan on going back for our 1 year in Sept.
