I just got done throwing on an FI Exhaust last night with a set of Rhino Ramps....the Borla will be easy enough, as it's just a muffler, but I BARELY had enough room to install the x-pipe for my exhaust. Ended up installing the majoriy of the exhaust from the side of the car, not under it.

My Recommendation: Ramps are okay for a muffler. If you are putting on a TD exhaust, get a jack and jackstands, or use a frickin lift. You will save yourself a lot of time and pain that way.

PS: 58 lb.s for the Borla? WTF?

It's the full cat back Borla so yeah, I might have the same trouble as you. I'll run the front up on ramps and use jacks for the rears. I guess I can try to jack up the rear higher to gain clearance.

Ohhhh, I forgot you had a sedan. I just backed the rear wheels up the ramps, and could access a decent amount of the underside. It got too tight as I got about halfway down the exhaust system. Keep in mind my car is now lowered on Tein Basics (as low as they'll go without removing collars, in the rear at least), so my space was a little more cramped. With the sedan you may have enough room to just use the ramps.

I don't think I can get the front wheels up the ramps without boards....

The borla actually sounds good, like the stock but deeper. Not all farty-fart can like some others! And it's 10 pounds lighter than stock (at least for the coupes). . .weener head!

Borla arrived. Looks to be in decent condition. Maybe I'll install it this weekend.

Well I ended up putting the exhaust on at Dad's anyway. Had the day off and brought Madison to grandmas. My dad and wife's parents live real close. Ramps worked well and with the back jacked up high, there was plenty of room. I went w/o a crawler though for space. Was sort of a pain because used stuff is like that sometimes. But eventually I got it all aligned and leak free.
