'06 G35MT lowering

I would like to drop my 2006 G35MT. I would like atleast a 1" drop and would also like to do this without any other mods for camber if possible. What is recommended? Will a standard G35 kit do this? (I know that the Z kits are popular since they add about a 1/2" drop but I presume that will def need a camber kit)

Also who can help do the install in the Tacoma area? Any recommended shops in the south end? I read it can take several hours to do the install, and with me you can double that time since I am a n00b!

I got some 350z H-techs that I am not using. It will drop your car about .8/.7 since it drop the z about .3/.2. You can also do a spring mount mod like Redlude. He has the h-tech ask him if he has any alignment issues.

You aren't going to get a 1" drop without being out of spec on camber, its just not possible. If you can live with excess camber/toe wear, then thats up to you

i never installed a camber kit into my 6mt '06 sedan.... you'll get tire wear regardless.

ok thanks. Question, does the Spring Mount mod need to be done to all kits or just the 350Z kit like you have? Just don't want to keep the mod list to a minumum since this is a rental if you know what I mean. I might just get the standard G35 kit and be done with it.

Probably the g35 aftermarket spring rather than 350z ones

A 1" drop is a 1" drop whether its a G application or Z application. Your camber is going to be off by the same amount(approximetly). There is no magic way of obtaining a 1" drop without knocking your camber out of spec

I really am confused on what I want to do. I am starting to think about coil overs now! Thanks a lot guys!!! I really like the BC Racing set. Around 1K. My concern is spring rates. I do not want to get softer than where I am at now. I figure I will just get the SPC Camber kit for the rear too...

Well I ordered a set of RS-R Down 350Z springs and Eibach 15/20mm Pro Spacers! Can't wait to get them installed. Will try to do it myself.

I finally got them installed, along with some Project Kics! Did it myself and it was a lot of work but not too bad...
