How Strict is WA for Modded Cars?

I don't really have much on my car at the moment as far as engine or exhaust but after I move I plan on eventually going FI. Just wondered if any of you guys have had problems with the police in WA about any mods that you have done? Tint, no front plates, clear corners, exhaust too loud? I am moving to the Spokane area where my car is going to be almost alien as there are maybe 4 coupes in the entire county and probably not as modded as mine is. HAHA

Also since my car is 5 years old now I think its required to go through the smog/emissions testing.

Thanks in advanced to any replies.

Meaning less restrictive? So as long as you aren't burning up the highway they won't pull you over just to ticket you for a BS front plate fix-it ticket?

they do pull over for no front plates though... It's expensive too if you get a ticket.

even more good news. I've had the infiniti since 03 and never been cited for no front plate OR tint even after being pulled over. *knocks on wood* And I know CA tends to be pretty strict on it. I am hoping my luck with continue in WA state as well. Thanks for all the replies!

I've had my windshields tinted for 6 years and no front plates. Finally got pulled over for both several months ago. Cop was an a-hole though. Pulled me over and walked around my car checking for things to give me a ticket for and then came to my window and told me "why" he pulled me over... Gave me a ticket for no front plate and "defective exhaust"

The windshield I got pulled over by a SPD cop by UW, he let me go though, but I got it stripped anyway, cause I was tired of it.

Oh yeah, don't put blue and red lights on your car... that's the one thing they don't like around the area.
