Ah, gotcha. It must have been her. So, question for ya: When you buy mods/things to do to the car, do you generally buy everything online or are there shops in our area that stock these things?

I'm guessing online but figured it could not hurt to ask. Any problems on any of the roads out here with the drop?

You can keep your chrome wheels for now lol

I do order everything online. It is cheaper and nobody really knows what you have. Thats why i dont like the local shops here, cause this is a small town and words spread fast. I guess i like to keep everybody wondering!

As far as the roads go, they are not bad around here at all. The only thing you really have to worry about is other people. They seem to scare me more than anything. I would recommend parking your car way in the back of every parking lot you put your car in.

awesome. Yea, I am already in the habit of parking way away from everything already, so that won't be a problem. I hate people's lack of respect for each others rides!

We will have to schedule a cruise when you get your ride. I've got friends with sick cars! I am sure you would take any reason to drive when you get it.

Sounds like a plan. I'm dying here waiting for it to arrive. I'll be gone over the weekend to a wedding so hopefully it should be here when I get back...

Friends with sweet rides?? awesomeee what do they drive?

I'm sure I could convince my roommate to come out too if you are game; he has been having fun with his new 2008 STi

did anyone catch the wind last night? My car did. Whole left side of my car needs to be repainted. The car next to mine lost the driver window and it hit my car. Glass everywhere!!!

Dont know much about them. I know there is a VW club that meets there almost every weekend. My brother in law hosts the club. I have a link somewhere to the site. Ill dig it up.

I just got two estimates done on the G. 2k in damages. $1030 out of my pocket on top of it for personal touches. Lifes a Bit**. They gotta paint 3/4 of the car. This sucks. No auto body shop around here uses paint from the factory. I hope like hell my paint matches.

Just waxed it 2 weeks ago. Just washed it before the storm.

Koda, are you serious!??!?!

That sucks so much. I can't believe it! It was crazy windy and dusty, yea, but how the hell did the car next to you lose its window!?

Is all the damage $ just for paint?

What shop are you going to?

And yea, it always seems like it storms right after the wash. So then, I decided to try to outsmart mother nature by foregoing a wash if it seemed like it was gonna rain in the next few days... and what does mother nature do? DOES NOT RAIN if I wait to wash my car. I swear, can't win either way!

All the damage is just for paint. 3/4 of the car needs to be repainted just because the glass from the other car hit mine at probably 1000 MPH! It chipped paint all the way down the left side of my car. some of it to the metal. I guess this is my calling for a Nismo bumper to set the two red G's apart. I gotta pay 500 deductable for insurance, then 460 for klumzee to send me a Nismo bumper. I probably gotta pay for additional costs to get the rest of the car painted to get it all to match just right. Atomic auto body will probably be the lucky canidate to do the fixen. I have had them do work on my 99 Si and there work was emaculate.

Yamaha, clean car. We are thinking about a cruise coming up. All cars invited. If your interested. Ill let you know about when were gonna do it. Till then, i gotta get repainted!

So, are they just touching up 3/4 of the car or completely painting it?

If they are painting it, I am going to play the devil here and suggest you get it painted in some awesome custom color!!

they are going to paint it. I wont let them touch it up. Its to much damage. I have definately thought about getting it repainted a new color. I am going to get an estimate tommorow with the body shop that i want to do it. I will talk to them about repainting the whole car, and see what the difference will be. Till then, i gotta see if they will let me put a Nismo front on there too. Some body shops are kinda leary about putting on "aftermarket parts" on peoples cars because of fittiment issues. There name goes on the product, so they are worried it will look like crap.
