^ was gonna recommend Atomic autobody. They seem like cool guys that care about their quality a lot! And this is definetely a sign that you should go aftermarket .

edit: I think Atomic uses Sikkens or Sikens paint. Decent stuff, and from what I remember, the best 'brand' offered in the TCs. The rest of the autobody shops I believe use DuPont or PPG. I believe Nissan oem paint is by PPG.

 

I am ready to go ahead with getting it fixed. I just have to wait for the adjuster to come on wednesday of next week. I hope he sees that there is a lot of small chips on the passenger side and says it does need to be painted. The estimate guy at the atomic says it needs to be painted. All i can do now is hope.

Hey. Sorry- was gone over the 4th weekend.

So, the car! It was finally loaded onto the trailer last thursday morning ... (some delay in getting it picked up).. which means it should be here TOMORROW or WEDNESDAY!!! <-- I am SO PUMPED!!!

So obviously, I do not have pictures that I have taken of receiving it... but here are some pics the old owner took before parting with it as it was loaded onto the trailer:

Yea it looks like he kept it pretty darn clean from the reflections in those pics. i swear to god i will go insane if it doesn't get delivered until wednesday!!!

don't know if i mentioned it earlier but the pic you posted of your Z looks so nice. will have to meet up with you at some point to check it out!

wow. So. The truck that my car is on broke down in Boise over the weekend and isn't getting fixed until today. Had it not broken down I could have had my car Monday!!! Lame!! Gotta wait ANOTHER day now

Here is the thing with mine.
Insurance adjuster wants to paint half the car. I cant get it in until aug 11th. I think i am going to skip on the Nismo bumper and get a new factory front lip, and maybe spend some more money on getting the rest of the car painted. It all depends on what the body shop wants to charge me for the rest of the car. I gotta have it lookin good. I wont be able to handle three diffrent colors of red on my expensive car. till then, i guess i wait till august.
