Finally found an installer in Puget Sound. Accutint in Seattle and Bellevue are a Huper Optik installer (they also carry other brands). Over the phone they estimated $389 for a coupe install which is comparable with other prices I see people post (maybe even a bit cheaper). When asked about how they deal with the dot matrix, they say that if a dark tint is used, they will cover it with vinyl. If a lighter tint is used, they may tint up to the dots and leave the dots as-is.

I'm considering getting a moderate tint installed next week.
