Looking for anyone with some experience in this arena.

I am currently leasing my 2007 G35. With a baby on the way and a wife that is about to lose her job with Wamu, it was time to move on. After finding out that infiniti financial does not allow lease transfers, I found a buyer for the vehicle. I called the dealership and they told me I would have to buy the vehicle and then sell the vehicle to the third party. Unfortunately, sales tax would have to be paid twice!

Has anyone gone through this? If so, is there a way to avoid paying sales tax twice?
