Discovered how NOT handy I am when attempting to figure out how to install my double din because I'm too cheap to get it done professionally. Then gave up and decided i'll do it when I'm not tired after work. Also attempted to place order for some coupe eyelids.

Most of the DIY's here that I've seen just help me remove the head unit and stuff. I have no idea how or where I'm going to be running wires, so I'm just going to wait until I have a lot of time on hand. This is what I get for having no friends XD

you shouldn't have to run any wires, just connect factory harness plug into the TV, then plug into car... wires just push back.

Thanks lol. I'll check it out again soon; probably tonight if I'm feeling restless again. Pretty sure I said "**** it" last time for a reason though.

I'll stop talking before I embarrass myself more. Thanks again.

Just had done...

Oil cooler O-ring (one that came out was still like new so guess it had been replaced previously)
Oil pan gasket (rtv)
Oil change (5w30) and new filter
Greased rear axles (valvoline synpower grease)

Found out...

rear brakes are at about 20% remaining (guess that will be next)

there is some build up inside the engine (at least in the oil pan area), nothing excessive but there just the same

Still to do...

Cabin filter, clearance bulbs and a couple noise fixes (behind rear seat - brace in trunk and passenger seat - bottom plastic cover)

So I went and took another look at the back of my double din. Looked at all of the wires it wants me to splice; I have no idea where the **** they go :l Maybe I'm just retarded, but I don't want to do this myself anymore ._.

Picked up some Meguiars goodies, though.

Had to replace the valve cover gaskets as both sides decided to leak. Fak. Then washed the car this afternoon and got rained on driving into town. Fak me. Car was clean like for half an hour. Got home from the gym and rewashed the car. Pulled it into the garage. Plus I believe my passenger side window motor is failing. Joe can u get a group buy on those.
