Redlude/suspension gurus HELP ME!!!

Left Front:

Camber: -1.7
Caster: 9.0
toe: -0.02

Right Front:

Camber: -1.7
Caster: 8.8
Toe: -0.04

Rear Left:

Camber: -1.0
Toe: -0.78

Rear Right:

Camber: -1.1
Toe: -0.14

THe dood said the rear camber was ok, as was the rear toe. But the front was in need of camber adjustment, the toe was ok, close to out of spec, but ok.

I am dropped on G35 Tein S-Techs, its an 04 coupe with the sports suspension and the stock 18's with the 7 spokes. I bought a rear camber kit thinking I would need em, but I dont....so what are you's guys recommendation? I also just ordered a set of rear toe bolts, and I figure since I will have it up on the lift, I may as well spend the extra time to pop in the camber kit too....

Now, if my research is correct, I will need to break out the air grinder and hog out the bolt hole for the toe bolt, correct? Any tips?

Thanks in advance

Yes, you will need to follow a template for the drilling of the toe bolt. Your toe in the rear seems wayy off. Camber all around seems fine, just make sure each side matches up with the other side. I would put on the camber and toe kit if you plan on getting coilovers in the future.

Edit: honestly 1.7 in the front is fine. If you want OPTIMAL tire wear however, then put on the camber kit in the front and set the camber to -1 all around. Just so you know, alignments with the front camber kit are more expensive due to the increased difficulty.

Yep install the toe bolts. If you were able to get the camber that low then the rear probably didn't drop much, did you do the springmount mod? Any pics of your drop? I would keep the camber arms, install the arms and toe bolts and cut the springmounts to get more drop in the rear, I suspect your drop is pretty uneven at this point based on your alignment numbers

nope, no spring mount mod.....a little leery "CUTTING" that ish.....when I get the bolts in I'll do it than....if I cut the mounts, I imagine that installing the camber arms will become a necessity, no?

Are you going to do the springmount mod? If so you will need a rear camber kit. The fronts will need a camber kit if you want even wear. You will get some feathering on the inside edges. If you flip the tires 2-3 times, then you can replace them about the same time as the rears wear out. Its up to you if you can live with that or if a camber kit is a worthwile investment

Sorry but not sure what a springmount mod is??? Please explain, i was told with my stag set up, 8.5 front and 9.5 rear, camber wear would be minimal. But if the 350Z springs give 1" drop and the G35 springs give .5" drop, would it be a better option to go with the G35 H-techs??? Or am i still looking at the same problems?????

From reading the above threads, i don't believe i would be doing a spring mount mod or any cutting, just a straight up swap.

you won't get a 1" drop in the rear with 350z h-techs without doing the springmount mod. It will be much closer to <0.5" in the rear

So if i just do a straight swap with springs, i'll get a lil lower, but what about camber wear. And should i go with G or Z springs? Sorry but this is all new territory for me!!!!
