Dealerships in Washington

Hello all

I'm currently looking for an 05 G35 and was wondering if anyone can recommend a dealership in Washington. Can anyone recommend a person and what to expect as far as pricing. I will not buy a car at Beaverton Infiniti. They sucks!

Re: Dealerships in Washington

are you looking for:
1. auto or manual
2. sedan or coupe?

I bought my sedan in May, 2002 from Tony Talton at Kirkland. Beaverton wanted $35000 for the sedan and I got it from Tony at MSRP, which was $31528. It was worth the 6 hour travel time. Tony was very good. No BS.

I've also heard that Arnold Tijuerna (spelling) at Fife is very good also.

In terms of pricing, I wouldn't expect much of a discount from either of them at least for the first few months the 05's are out.

Hey there

I'm looking for an black, auto, with prem pack, nav and maybe the perf pack. Beaverton had something similar but they were asking around 36k. If i can pay around that much, hell it's worth the drive. But i do have to trade in my current car.

coupe or sedan?

The AT's are much more plentiful and you'll get better pricing on them.

You'll get jacked by the dealer unless they're trying to unload a slow model, which the 05 g's are not.

I called Beaverton to see how much they would give me for my sedan. They said 21K while trade in value was 23K in KBB. I ended up selling it for just over $24K privately.

Oh i forgot. Coupe. They just would not budge on the price of an 04 when i was looking several months ago. They low balled me on my BMW and didn't even lower the price on the Infiniti. I would rather try to get it out of state if it's going to save me tons of $$

Yep. I wanted to buy my coupe from tony but all he could give me on a 6mt was $500 off MSRP because I was a returning customer. I ended up getting VPP (employee pricing) through Grubbs in February.

You really can't blame them though because he's just selling them for what the local market will bear. I would do the same thing.

How do you get a car from Grubbs? Is it simple?

yeah. the process was pretty simple. you pick out a car with the options you want, agree on a price, etc. Here's a link with the info:

I also qualified for VPP and Kirkland Infiniti wouldn't sell me the 6mt coupe at VPP so I bought through Grubbs. Free shipping as well. No complaints.

Re: Dealerships in Washington

Yulook -- check out my reply in the "How to get a G35 Coupe" thread in this NW section.

I bought my G35 coupe from the previously mentioned Arnold Tijerina when he was with Riverside Infiniti in SoCal (apparently he's in Tacoma now). Coupes in that area at the time weren't going for less than MSRP, so that's what I paid (with no trade-in). I don't know what you'll pay in Tacoma, but Arnold was very straightforward about pricing and the transaction couldn't have been much smoother.

yeah. Like I said, they don't have to go down that far to sell a car up there so why should they? I'd look into grubbs and see what they can do for you.

Re: Dealerships in Washington

Thank you for all your responses but i have to trade in a car and that's going to be difficult with buying from Grubbs. I will keep trying and might have to just pay the price which i don't want to do.

I know that it is much less of a hassle to trade a car in and sometimes you get lucky with a good trade-in value. However, the money that you'll get selling the car privately will probably be close to the money you'll save by getting the car out of state. Sell the car yourself and order out of state. Just my opinion though.

Re: Dealerships in Washington

I just purchased a 2004 G35C from Grubbs in TX and got a great deal, at least compared to WA/OR dealers. I see a couple posts from others in PNW who have bought from Grubbs. Please advise where you are servicing your vehicles, and how your service experience has been. Is there any backlash for purchasing out of state? Thanks for your input.
