goddamn cr@ppy Seattle streets killed both tires off my G's passenger side
So I'm rolling on my old shaven to the bone 17s again while I wait for a new 225/40-19 front and a 245/40-19 rear to be shipped to the local Discounttire
Last time this happened it was the family Toyota wagon and it was the same damn place too ! I guess the Motul replenishment and my Transgo plans are going to have to take a backseat now
There has gotta be a lawsuit in here somewhere, it's just bl00dy criminal.
I mean its not like I was hauling the mail, riding sidewalks or something, this was my poor Mrs just trundling along with the rest of traffic early in the morning

still waiting for the new rubber to be shipped in
hopefully it'll be good to go before the weather really falls apart
The manager @ Discount said they would reprogram the ECU to work with the TPMS sensors on the newer 19s ... I'm skeptical but that'd be pretty darn cool if they did

so hey has anyone ever gone BACK to 17s from 19s ?
I've been shaving off what's left off my 17s and it seems the car's more flickable @ lower speeds although it could also be the tire tread & design @ work (Michelin > Kumho)

you can sue the city, it happens all the time. and once you do, the pot hole that killed your tires will get filled.
i have been seeing trucks going around filling holes lately, this winter has been KILLER on the streets this year. there's a giant 6" deep sinkhole i have to go over on my drive home everyday, my car is barely wide enough to go over it
