Why should you get a tune?
Your car is like... the pinnacle of how I have always wanted a G to look... When you drove by, the GF was ranting at me like "did you see that ****ing car?!?!?!" She never gets that excited for a car lol. I would have stopped and BS'd with ya when I left but I was driving like... 70 feet worth of truck and trailer taking the car back to Spokane lol

also when you have a check engine light on your car is running in limp mode, getting worse mpg and less performance. Need to get it
Taken care of chingu

A buddy of mine that has a 370Z (also had a TTG35 till it got wrecked) go his car tuned by Smokey Nagatta whenever he was down to train the tuners, the results were 9hp and i think 7tq he wasnt too happy lol
seriously....a limp mode? fml
tuning isnt just about high end power. its about efficiency. and with osiris.. there is allot more that the Tune can do for you

370z's have a MUCH better tune from the factory then the 2003-2006 VQ35DE's, the throttle sync is way better, and you won't see as impressive results. Regardless of the #'s tho if the tuner knows what they're doing you've have a much smoother, stronger pulling car by smoothing out the fuel maps. Like other said, its not all about the peak hp #'s.

Its to protect your car mang, the ecu doesn't know whats wrong so it make the engine run very "safe," which burns extra gas and kills performance. I've been telling you that for like 3 months!

seriously need to get on this. i'm tired of being a slow ****. hook me up chingu
so anytime the CEL is on the engine is running on limp mode?
Here's my twist on it, since we all know how bad **** and aggressive I drive ALL THE TIME.
Also...do NOT drive through Wyoming...or this will happen
Osiris Update:
Map 1 ~ 300 miles / windows down / 80 mph constant speed = 26.6MPG
Map 2 ~ 300 miles / windows down / 80 mph constant speed = 27.1MPG
Map 3 ~ 300 miles / windows down / 80 mph (slight variations) = 24.1MPG
Wanna put a smile on this guy's face!? Hit 300 miles on a touch over 1/2 tank
Also...leaving it in Map 1 from now on lmao

I wish there was a way to see these gains attainable on my own vehicle (since they are all a bit different) before laying down the $. I would be thrilled to get the kind of mpg #'s listed above by shank but I have serious doubts that would be possible on my G considering I now get roughly 12-15 city / 20 hwy. Please don't take my skepticism as anything more than doubting my own tune results.
Heck 3 weeks ago I went out and bought a Geo Prizm (toyota drive-train) just to drive around town due to the horrible city mpg of my G (the dealer claims it's running fine). Since then I have only been driving the G once or twice a week, usually on the weekends (used a 1/4 of a tank in 3 weeks so obviously very little drive time). At close to 20 mpg city / 25+ hwy I would sell the 30 mpg Prizm and be thrilled with once again enjoying the G daily.
Now if only I could claim my poor mpg as a mechanical breakdown to my warranty company.
