The G35 is an amazing machine, hands down. But everybody here I know has mods they want to do. Whether it be mechanical, cosmetic, or both. What are your plans?

 

Since I started it I'll get it going.

I already have the Stillen CIA & Z-Tube for my 04.5' BLK/BLK G35x. Future (in order) are: MD MREV spacer, Rims and Tires 20's w/ Toyo Proxee 4s, H&R Springs to drop it 1.2"(maybe), Stillen CB Exhaust, Stillen Headers, possible body kit, possible brake kit.

I just ordered splash guards and clear corners so far. For the summer, I plan to get my CarPC project started and finished, drop with 350Z Tein H-Techs, and 19" DB GT7's. Pretty much all I plan on doing to my car unless I decide on getting the Motordyne Plenum later down the road.

 

I just ordered OEM front rear splash guards as well... plan on getting a OEM Front Lip, Tein 350Z H-tech springs and 20" Work VSXX Gold w/ polished lip, I also want an exhaust, either HKS Hi-Power TD or Nismo or RSR ExMag GTII/TopSpeed Pro-1... thats what I want to do... now, I probably won't get around to the rims or dropping it ever... LOL! We'll see what happens!

I also plan on doing some things inside such as getting an iPod adapter and Slip PS2 hooked up to the navi-screen so I could have DVD playback capability and a PS2... heh, but that will be all...

Yeah, will do. I'm still in the development stages of the process. I'm working with a few software engineers to try and build a car specific OS similar to a quick boot system based on Linux. Should be done in Mid-Late July. If all goes well. I'll actually be doing the install pretty damn close to you I think. All the work will be done in Renton and the Newcastle area.

I installed everything myself except for the tint, clear bra, and mounting/balacing the tires.

Up next, I have the 06 projectors that I'm going to black out before installing. It's been too cold recently to paint them so I may have to wait til April. I also have some 04 taillights I'm going to black out as well.

I was originally going to get the JWT turbo kit, but due to it taking so long and also concerns about insurance with aftermarket turbo, I think I'll upgrade to a different car later (GT-R maybe).

03 sedan auto here. I just plan to mod as they come available used. hehe. I got the Z tube K&N panel so far. Crawford V5 is waiting to be put in. Gotta get it to the dealer for some issues before doing the mods though.

Any coupe guys that have their stock springs and mid-pipe laying around, I'd be willing to possibly take them off your hands for cheap. Same with some Coupe wheels/tires. I'm eyeballing some Track 18s at the moment.

 

Renton huh...you roll up in Fairwood often? My parents still live there and I go home sometimes on the weekends. We should meet up sometime when the weather gets nice. Especially wanna see that turbo kit if you get it.

 

Just put on the clear corners tonight. Ordered the OEM front lip and F/R splash gaurds. Have to get the front bumper repainted, then get the 3M clear bra. Next will be a Ztube/K&N, then the MD spacer.

I dont really want to drop it, I dont want it looking like some lil ricer car. Although I have seen a couple 1" drops that look REAL clean. Looking for some wheels that everyone and their dog DOESNT have. I did just buy some new tires for the stock 18's...so maybe later this summer.

 

I 100% agree. I want some rims that others don't have. I am leaning toward some dope chrome ADR 20's with a fat lip. I will see if I will drop it 1in from there or not because I am adding side skirts and rear under spoiler. What is the best front lip to use?

I'm actually moving to Newcastle next month. For the turbo kit, I'm most likely not going to get it. If it was released a year ago when I had the itch and money to get it, I probably would have, but I just got a new house in Newcastle and don't have that kind of money to spend now (and also the insurance concerns).

 

I bought my sedan with the intentions of doing a twin turbo set up and some suspension mods. So far I have put wheels, tinted and had a stereo system installe. Now I'm putting my coins together to drop it off at Scott Perf for the TT, cams, ecu, exhaust, and suspension upgrades (though I don't know which suspension setup I will go with).

 

Not much really I want to do that I can afford budget wise at this time since I've had my car less then a week. But I am thinking about getting some new corners. I know it's supposed to be cool to be JDM but I saw some blacked out ones that look pretty nice. I thought I saw some smoked ones for sale that I think would match the DG better but I can't find them anymore. If the wallet is willing I think some kind of turbo/supercharger would be cool. Actually if anything I'm leaning towards downgrading by going spoiler less. Anyone have a DG with no spoiler thats willing to trade trunk lids?
