Do you mean road racing (tarmac) or drags ?
I've been to both at Pacific Raceways.

I've done a couple of driving schools at Portland International Raceway, one with Team Continental, and one with Cascade Sports Car Club. I've also been on the track with the Alfa Romeo club and the BMW club (gotta love running down the Bimmers ). I'm headed out with the BMW club again in a couple weeks (May 19).

I did a couple of modest write-ups on my driving schools if anyone cares to search for them. There are maybe three G drivers from this board that I know have been to the track, and interestingly, I've never seen a 350Z out there.

Never made it up to Pacific Raceways, but I'd like to sometime. Probably won't be too soon, though -- we're expecting twins in July, so I won't be leaving town much for a while...

Oh, and I've also run the 1/4 mile at PIR a few times. It's been a while, but I think my best run was a 14.39 or so in my stock '04 5AT.

Hey Kent,
Long time no talk. If I can get the day off, I'll be doing the Team Contintental HPDE on the 25th. I'd join for the BMW club event but I'll only have about 300-400 miles on my new car by then. I'll only about 600-700 by then but that'll be close enough.

Congrats on the twins.

Thanks, Al

Sounds like a track day is the perfect way to finish breaking in that shiny new IS.

Haven't had the chance to hit the track yet, but I've been planning on it this year. Have been Autocrossing last season and this year too...

Speaking of tracks, Im in the airport terminal waiting to go to Phoenix to race for the weekend. My father races in Grand Am and I am just getting into the pro series.

I do not track the G35, but am on the track in other cars quite a bit. My family is good friends with the Kitches (own Proformance Race School at Pacific Raceway), and I recommend it to anyone if they would like to step up their driving. I might have to come down and hang with some of you guys at the Pacific Raceways lap days.

Good luck and have fun!!

Proformance is a great school at a great price. Pacific international is a great track too. I've also done mission raceway, with inside line. Also would like to do Portland. If anyone is interested in getting a group together for a track day, you can count me in.

We are driving the #3 Mustang this weekend due to the damage sustained at Laguna. I will be driving the #77 at LimeRock in 2 weeks.
