FS: BNIB Samsung Sync a707 Cingular phone - pics

$215 shipped. Only thing missing is the UPC proof of purchase that I removed from the box to get my rebate. Warranty good thru Dec 27, 07.
Posting on ebay Monday afternoon if no takers.
Thanks,

No, my contract was up, so I signed a new one and bought this phone at a discounted price for renewing my contract. I use unlocked phones that do not have cingular software on them. This phone is not unlocked; it is branded for cingular and has their software on it (which sucks IMO)

hehe, not free. It comes out to roughly $65 after rebate.
I'm sure you can unlock it if you want to use it for another provider.

that's a pretty good deal. they must have sent you to their customer retention group. I've heard of people doing stuff like that over the phone..they will transfer them to their crt group and negotiate a deal.
well, this thing is going on ebay..just thought i would list it here and on howardforum.com first.

It's a very nice phone, but most of us can't see paying $200+ for a phone we can get for free or at a much reduced price for signing a contract. I'm sure there are very valid reasons to purchase a phone outside a contract, like what you said, you hate the Chingular software.

Thanks and good luck on ebay.

Tex

most people that buy these phones are people whom still have a lot of time left on their contract and cannot get the reduced price by renewing their contract. usually women who have to have the latest style or men who just like new toys. This particular phone sells easily on ebay for $200+
