Just bought one, was wondering where is the best place to get high quality movies on it. And approx how many full length movies is it capable of storing??

 

just get video editing software and rip your own movies from dvd or downloads. a typical movie formatted for ipod video resolution is about 300-400mb, so you can do the math there

 

iTune sucks, is there any other music mngmt software that can be used?

I tryied to convert a small music video that I downloaded and its taking forever to convert the file for use w/the ipod. Will it do the same in anapod??

Will I always encounter these these long waits when uploading video to my ipod?

Not sure about movie downloads, but check this out. It might help u put some of your fav DVDs on there. I got tons of stuff on mine using this method:
