FS: 1991A Colt Combat Commander Mark IV Series 80 in .45 ACP

I'm selling my Colt Commander. It's a mid size Colt 1911 (revised 1991A) with a 4.25" barrel. This is my most heavily customized pistol. I put a lot of money and time into her and I hate to see her go, but I need the money and she's like a classic T-bird that I love to show off, but hardly ever use to get really nasty with. That is what my Sig Sauer P220 or my Smith and Wesson 4006 is for.

Here she is and included in the pics is what you get.
Colt Combat Commander 1991A Mark IV Series 80

You get the Colt with:
- a reliability package already performed. It's been throated, ramped, beveled so it will shoot anything you feed it. I still wouldn't recommend range ammo though, but I know it will shoot it.
- Millet low profile rear sights
- aluminum lightweight trigger
- Galco Quick Slide Holster in Black
- 2 standard OEM shooting star 8 round magazines
- 1 MegCar 8 round magazine plus butt plate
- 1 Wilson Combat stainless steel 10 round magazine
- Custom Carbon Fiber Grips courtesy of master gunsmith Terry Tussey
- OEM Colt rubber grips
- Pachmayr rubber grips with finger grooves
- 1 spare 20lb recoil spring

Asking: $700 or best offer.

This has to be completed via FFL or PPT transfer. All federal and state laws apply. If you want the gun, pm me, we'll discuss transfer of funds and gun to your local gun store where you will have to undergo all necessary background checks (and permits if need be) to purchase the firearm. If you don't clear a background check, transaction is void and all money is refunded.

I'm in San Diego, CA.

It would be great if we could take care of this locally, but if I have to transfer it out of state, I can, it just costs $85. That's not me charging the $85, that's my local favorite gun store. Bastards!

The Reliability Package and aluminum trigger was performed by Mission Armory in Miramar California. I don't think they exist anymore though.

The sights was done by JB at Discount Gun Mart in San Diego, CA.

The Carbon Fiber grips were supplied to me by Terry Tussey at the Del Mar Gun Show. He subsequently did a trigger job and custom nite sights for my S&W 4006. He did some great work on that little gun.
