You might be better off trying to sell Locally.

Not sure why you say that, but okay. If this is relevant to your post, the only reason I have it priced this way is because it's only worth what the market will pay and a quick glance on ebay will show what the market will pay...

I do understand that on a car forum marketplace people here are more interested in purchasing car related products, but I'm just advertising the phone all over, doesn't hurt. That's all!

Yes, and you're basically getting a Griffin AirCurve for free. If the price is too high for you, but you are seriously interested PM me an offer.

actually the $699 price is for the 32gb, it's only $599 for the 16gb directly from apple with no contract.

so you're charging $100 for the griffin aircurve that comes with an already open boxed iphone? good luck with that one...

Flame the thread, go ahead guys. It's great, I appreciate it.....

I'm not trying to rip anyone off here. The market speaks for itself. Look on ebay and see what they're final prices. People pay more for new product. I assume no one remembers when the iPhone first came out and people were paying $2000+ for them on ebay?

If you're not truly interested then please keep your comments to yourself. That I would appreciate! And just because I'm already getting flamed within the first hour of having it listed here I will drop the price.

post #4 G35 FTMFW asked if this was selling for $699 at the apple store with no contract

This is obviously false. You can sell it for however much you want. There may be idiots out there who will buy at a higher than retail price, but just don't misrepresent the facts, especially if you're posting it for sale to forum members.

If you were truthful you would have said how much the actual retail price was, but that you've marked up the price based on what you feel the demand justifies.

First of all it was a mistake. I thought that the no contract price was 699 for the phone. So, if you want me to apologize then I'm sorry, but don't think for a second that demand doesn't justify the price people are willing to pay for a product. If you don't believe in this then I would suggest going back to high school economics class.

I didn't meaningfully lie so don't make it sound like I was intentionally doing so.

Like I said in my previous post. If you're not interested then please just look and move on.

Quick update. iPhone is already sold. Accepted good offer on ebay. I guess the theory stands. Market demand will determine what one is willing to pay for a product.

Thanks for all the comments.
