I'm selling my IBM T42 Thinkpad laptop. It has a 14.1" screen, weighs ~4.5lbs and is in immaculate condition. The laptop goes for 5 hours on the battery. It has a brand new keyboard and a brand new battery and ~2 years remaining on the warranty. I'm selling it because I bought it for school, but work has just provided me with one. I paid $2100 for it. it doesn't have any bad pixels that i have seen.

yeah i'll take a pic with it turned on and post it here in a couple of minutes.

 

one pic is with the flash on, so the screen looks dimmer than it is, but you can see how clear/sharp the screen is. the other two are with the flash off so you get a better idea of how bright the screen is since it is pretty bright.

solid laptop, great warranty remaining. if you have any issues, they just mail you a replacement part, or you can take advantage of the depot repair and they fix it asap. i haven't had a single issue with it since day one. the only reason i'm selling it is because got an identical laptop, literally the exact same t42, from work for free, so i don't need this anymore for my part-time master's program. it's plenty fast for the software development i've used it for.

I just want to add that I have the same laptop from work and it's a beast. It hasn't failed me yet and restores my confidence in PC laptops after coming from an Apple Powerbook.

The battery life on this laptop is great, not too heavy, and powerful for your mobile needs.
