I bought the G35 in Florida already moddified. Silver/Black 6MT, 14k miles, stock internals. Japtrix in Orlando FL did all the work. The car is very clean and done right. I have a dyno sheet that says 424rwhp and 374 rwtq @ 9.5psi. I'll try to upload some pictures. They all seem to be too large.

You better be carefull putting 9.5 ppsi through a stock motor from what Ive read and heard more then 8psi and its veryy possiable to blow something. Just talk to BrianlG35C I think he fragged his with 9psi. You might wanna try Ttrank to hes one of the boost specialist on here now.

Sounds nice, but yes be careful running at 9.5psi. I blew my stock block running @ 9psi. It was installed and tuned by a shop that's very familiar with FI G/Zs. Many of our cars have blown their motors at your power levels or less. I'm familiar with Japtrix and they do good work, but if I were you, I'd seriously consider detuning it down to 8-8.5psi. A built motor can really add up to lot of money and long downtime.

What was your A/F when you blew your engine? I just took another look at my dyno sheet it was at 9.3 PSI and my A/F is about 12.5. I only ran 7psi on my 350z but with a centrifugal supercharger.

I believe it was at 11.5. If I could do it all over again, I would of had them just keep it at the base tune of 8psi. Then planned for a built motor, which would of saved me a lot of money.

I think I have a conservative tune as far as fuel goes, but I'm now concerned about the boost level. What shop locally do you recommend for work? Also, what all did you do when building the engine?

I'm definitely not trying to alarm you, but I can only tell you my experience and give sincere advice based on that. You may be fine at 9.5lbs for a long time or as long as you own the car, but there has been a history established that many stock G35 blocks have failed at your power levels.

GRD http://grdstore.com/did my install of both my TT kit and built motor, along with tuning. I believe they are one of the first shops in the US to offer the APS kit for G/Zs. They have extensive knowledge of our cars and I have much confidence in them. Knowone knew back then as much as they do now, the limits of the G35 stock block. I was just too early.

There's also Forged Perfomance down in Georgia. Excellent shop with a good reputation.

Off the top of my head, those are the only two shops I would let tune my G. They both are HKS Pro Dealer and authorized FCON tuners, the ems I decided was worth the extra cost over the Unichip and UTEC.

azndalboy had his turbo setup done buy http://www.slowmotionmotorsports.com/ . I know they are a very good shop and if and when I get mine done I will take mine there. azndalboy is running his turbo around 8psi and is going to to be sending his back to them this winter to have his built so they can turn up the boost.

yup 9.3 is pushing it. If everything is stock internals then 9.3 psi is dangerous. This block cannot handle it. As long as you are conservative then you could have some miles on it before you blow it. However most people on the g35 turbo forums are definetly blowing theirs if over 8 psi. However, there are the one and two that have not yet. I rather be safe then sorry. If you go to Slowmotion let me know. Or just head up there and let them know you know Dallas(me) They will take good care of you. But make sure you call to make an appointment first if you plan to drive up and leave your car to get it re tuned. They are a very busy shop.
