My Turbo Install with Slow Motion Motorsports-Sunbury, Ohio (Pics Posted)

Pics are posted!!!

Hello all!

As it stands right now, I have ordered all my parts for my turbo install. The parts I have ordered are...

Turbonetics Turbo Kit-Courtesy of Dal
HKS Hi Power Full Exhaust
Greddy Turbo Timer
STRI Racing Gauges-Imperial Amber Series!
AEM Pillar Pod Mounts
AEM A/F analog Dial
ACT Lightweight Flywheel
ACT Clutch
(whoops!) Uprev Tuning

I wanted to share this all with you and start a progress thread where I will be Documenting this even with pics so that all you guys can see the quality work of Slow Motion Motorsports. This is the same Company that Built and Installed DAL35's Kit and Motor.

I would recommend all of those in Ohio and nearby areas to consider getting your work done with them...

Here is their website...http://www.slowmotionmotorsports.com/

Pics will follow as well as updates as I get them. Install date begins November 2, 2009

Wish me luck!

What EM are you using? Please tell me it's not the turbonetics reflash...

How about injectors?
Do you have oem Brembos? If not look into a brake upgrade ASAP.

I am looking into something soon. I have an O5, as they came without the Brembos. I have thought about it, and it is one of those things that will come with time Tim. Your car leaves lots for us to envy there sir!

I would like to keep a very mild tune until I am able to do a build in the future...

I thought you couldn't install a turbo on our cars without building the engine up?

All turbo kits can be put on a stock engine, you just cant turn up the boost very high.

Interesting, I thought Mike blew his engine cause it wasn't built up with just a super charger. I figured a turbo was even harder on an engine then a super charger.

Nope just all depends on the amount of boost you run throught it. I belive 6 psi is about the limit for a stock VQ. Mike had all kinds of issues since his car was the pototype for Procharger. The bracket got bent and a few other issues with the install.
