So the latest is several hundred miles since completion, a few tanks I averaged 20.6 or so mpg. I am very happy with this set up. The Turbo spools much quicker and evenly throughout the power band, unlike the TN set up which came on like a wild boar...fast and unpredictable. I feel with the added power, better delivery and reliability, this is the setup I should have went with long before the headaches turbonectics gave me over 5 months.
So long story short, The Garrett was the best route to go and time now has proved it to be the right decision.
Thank you to those that had interest in it and hopefully this summer, with the acquiring of a fine camera, I can post some quality pics of the car and the engine bay.

To top it all off, I got 20.6 and 19.3 mpg on the last two tanks!!! not bad for a 400whp G! That does include some wot and some partial quick gear rowing...needless to say i am very happy about the final product from slomo...just talked to corey about it. it almost feels stock at crusin speeds on the freeway. Seriously! and the power delivery is so smooth it doesnt feel like a burst of power like some turbos.

I am unsure of the price of the Turbo, but that question can be answered by Corey at Slowmotion Motorsports.
But as for the swap, it was almost direct...had to create a new downpipe and modify the intake and downpipes to the intercooler. Some of the A/c lines needed special attention as the turbo ate two of them and a condensor.

Well, all is fun until something breaks.
My G with a stock block boosted saw 2 fun years until it threw a rod that punched a hole on both sides of the motor a little bigger than a golf ball.
Remember it was a stock block only running 5.5lbs of boost.
So I am on to new things. I am currently waiting on my stage two block and upgrading to a TT kit. More details to come along with pics as things start to happen.
