Look What I Got Today!
Tom, never by a product because you hear some people are on them. Some people ride around on the cheapest thing possible and write reviews without any real basis or knowledge. Ie just because someone wrote a glowing review doesn't mean ****. Ask what else have they driven on? What comparisons can they make? Take forum reviews with a large grain of salt unless the member is known to be reputable in terms of knowledge.
Also what do you want coils for? Performance driving, to slam it to the ground, or just for lowering? Purpose defines product IMO. Pick a purpose and we can go from there.
As for MDU...I have no idea what they are but I imagine for 550 bucks they aren't very well engineered and likely poorly valved and made. You get what you pay for in 99% of cases, 550 bucks brand new for a set of coils means concessions were made somewhere in the design. A good set of Bilsteins is $1500, the bench mark Ohlins are $2500+, in that respect $550 worries me more than anything.
If budget is the issue, skip coils and just go springs with new shocks. Yes you lose adjustability but you have something that is serviceable and quality determined by you. If you have to have coils, save and skip these ****ty ebay companies and do your car a favor and buy it proper parts. You'll thank yourself later with better build quality, ride quality and longevity.
Look through this thread, find what matches your needs. And if you want great advice, ask Gsedan35, hands down the most knowledgeable person about suspension.

Thanks Arnab, yeah I was only eyeballing them because springs/shocks is about the same $ as the MDUs but the coilovers would have the added benefit of a one-time installation with full adjustability
True, MDUs are comparable in price, but again, that should make you wonder why more than anything.
If you are just wanting to lower and dont NEED adjustability, buy some springs that are compatible with your stock shocks. They will wear out eventually (the shocks), but you can at least use them for a while and when they do go you can buy aftermarket shocks.
Otherwise, keep saving and buy proper coils.

Yea, I just commented on your facebook. The test pipes really brought up the torque curve nicely. Great numbers Tom.
edit: before people get confused, yes I know these are before and after tune with the same parts installed. Nevertheless, the RevUp (06+) motor gave up a couple torques to the regular DE in exchange for more top end. Looks like that has evened out more. Likely a combination of the spacer and test pipes.

After 6 months i got the LEDs in my headlights replaced. I'm currently deployed but I got my brother to install them again. Can't wait to get back in December so i can clean it up.
