So the guy that normally does my exhaust work just told me he cant do my Berk HFCs because of the 8 year 80k mile EPA rule that says the stock cats have to be damaged in order for him to do it legally...wtf? I guess I just found out what im gonna be doin today.

Anyone who has installed them before did you have to use swivels to undo the bolts from the header to cat and just get creative with extensions????

its a liability issue for mechanics. They can be fined if found out to remove them. I dont have any cats but then again, my car isnt a made for on road use! hahahaaaaha

Thanks guys. Yeah Jeremy, she is pretty special! The cool thing is, I think the mod bug has bit her because we were talking on the way home on the things we wanted to start doing on the car next year lol

 

I let used to let chicks drive my cars, but after one totaled my Honda Prelude, and the another tore the exhaust off my lowered Honda Accord on a speed bump as I was yelling slowdown, slowdown, and then said, Stop!, got out and threw most of my exhaust in the trunk, Never again will a woman drive my cars. My wife hates my car b/c she can not drive it, I let her once, but listening to my gears grind did it for me, she didn't make it out of the driveway.
