It is easily one of the top events for Z's and G's in the country let alone the East Coast. I am leaving to go down Wed's evening if people want to link up to head down. You will want to hurry and make reservations at Fontana Village there are not allot of accomodations left and you really want to stay there. The driving experience is the best hands down
I really wanted to make it this year but a very good friend will be getting married that weekend, so no dice. Next year hopefully if I can plan well in advance and hopefully by then I'll have more done to the car.
I would like to go, And I just might if my car is done before then! I will be back from Turkey by then so I will decide in May when I get back!

Ok, I know, I'm not Ohio G Club... but if any of you guys haven't seen it yet: https://g35driver.com/forums/southea...yz-anyone.html
When I was down in Gattlingburg a couple of weeks ago, people at the local harley shop said that tail of the dragon was going to be shut down completely until the end of july due to a landslide. I am sure there are plenty of other good drives around there though...just thought I would mention it.
The Tennesee side had the rock slide US129, which is a ways from from Deals Gap and The Dragon. The contract to clear US129 has been awarded, and work has begun. I have people I work with who just left the area and it will be cleared and open in less than 6 days. There are updates on MY350Z 2010 ZDAYZ forum, also lots of roads to travel in Fontana Dam Area, and the Dragon is clear of traffic if you run it early in the morning before regular daily driver traffic. If you have the time to go it is worth adding to your driving resume " The Tail of The Dragon".
