I wish I could come out tomorrow for the meet, but I'm a student at OSU and probably should study for my finals which are next week

Debadging is pretty easy. I used a hair dryer and some floss on my last car and it took about a half hour, give or take.

Honestly, I've never really thought about engine mods because I don't know anything about that kind of stuff, but now I'm starting to do some research and starting to get interested in some performance mods...we'll see!

frojoe, that is what this club is all about. Helping each other out. I am an OU grad twice over and I can tell you that studying for finals is a good thing, but so are mental breaks. So if you are studying and get into a lull, by all means, swing on out and take a mental break by filling it with car nonsense! hahahaaaa

I didn't want to make another thread but I need a recommendation for a local tint shop. I bought a black roof overlay for my car and don't know where to take it to get installed. Any recommendations?

Does anyone know of a decent shop that can install my Eibach springs? Slowmotion quoted me at $320 for the install and $80 for an alignment (not sure if this is necessary since the drop isn't that aggressive with the G35 Eibach Pro-Kit springs).

I hoping to keep it under $225, if possible. I'm not familiar with any shops in Columbus so let me know who you guys have gone to for this kind of stuff. Thanks!

If you went with coils it would of been cheaper(labor wise).. It's because with springs, you need to take out the oem spring from the oem shocks then put the eibach spring with the oem shocks. Coils you just take out and install new system so it is more labor if you are just changing springs even though springs are much cheaper then coils.

I could always sell the springs and would only lose a few bucks since I got a pretty good deal on them.

What's a good option for coilovers? I'm a college student and don't have the funds to get a $3k set of coilovers. I don't want to sound cheap, but it is what it is. What's the cheapest set of quality coilovers?

You'll still spend less with springs and install. I have a set of tein mono flex with edfc going for $1800. The teinmono flex retails for $2000 at least.

I have the Eibach pro kits with Tokico HPs and an alignment is worth it. I even had to get a front and rear camber kit with toe bolts to get the car back within specs. The biggest reason was to save tires. In just a few short summer months, my old tires would wear badly in the inside fronts (toe). to save tires, I rotated the tires from side to side, which meant I had to swap the tires from rim to rim.

Its an expensive game...but worth playing. So make a good choice from the begining.
