Well, the seller is a member of the forum. So I'd probably end up asking someone he knows already and they might not be completely honest with me, but that's a good idea.

Honestly, I'm leaning towards not making the trade for 3 reasons:

1) I don't know **** about boost and it's possible that something would go wrong and I wouldn't know how to fix it and it could be very expensive
2) Like Tom said, I like to do my own mods...even if I don't do the work for all of them, I pick the mods/brands/etc. and put the time and effort into the process; having someone else's tastes on MY car might not be what I'm looking for.
3) I'm graduating from college in June and don't even know if I'll be able to keep my car (might end up in NYC...other option is Pittsburgh)

I wouldn't go down to older year car even if it's Fi'd. Down grade in interior and in years plus you don't really know how it was treated before.

i would stay in the 06 for better resale value later down the road. Your car is nice already just see what you have to get what is already on the laser red.
