Throttle Body Issue Please Help!!

My car is not idling correctly after i changed out my plenum. It starts runs to 3-4k then goes down to 300-400RPM and putts out.

Any suggestions? Was wondering if I could borrow a throttle body from anyone to swap it out to see if that is the issue.

Let me know!! Thanks for any help!!

The rubber gasket around the oil filler neck is probably pinched between you upper and lower plenum.

I checked that everything is flat and I am almost positive I have no vacuum leaks.

I find it hard to belive that the throttle body went bad just from pulling it out and putting it back in. Are ya sure all the bolts are tight and the hoses in the very back are on. There a MFer to get back on.

I guess the first thing Id do is take it all back apart and make sure nothing went wrong inside the plenum.

I tore everything back down. Found nothing, cleaned it, and put it all back together. I still have an Idle issue. I noticed on my code reader I had a throtle position error, but have been un able to replicate that code consistantly.

Please send this to me. Do you have the throttle reset as well?

What I have done tonight:

1. Removed and cleaned the throttle body. No major build up was present. It moved freely with a slight spring back.
2. Removed and cleaned the MAF sensor. No major build up, if any was present.
3. Cleaned all connectors.
4. Removed battery connection. I am going to let it sit overnight and I will reset the ECU and throttle position tomorrow.

If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.

I thought you could reset the ECU by just removing the neg battery cable for 15 mins. Theres another way to do it with hitting a bunch of diffrent things but I always just unhook the negative cable.

When you say you cleaned the throttle body how did you go about doing it?

Its a common issue cleaning that these get messed up.
