But I've said it once and I will say it again, ALWAYS be very cautious with used boost. I personally will never recommend to anyone I know and will never buy it used myself. It usually works for a while and then you end up trying to repair it about 5 times over and then you eventually just end up buying new anyways.

For those of you who one day may consider it, don't let it scare you off. It's perfectly do able if you plan ahead and do it right. Know what your power goals are, match with your budget, then make sure you have enough to fortify internals and other parts that are OEM that were never meant for boost and then make sure you have enough for inevitable adjustments and repair. If you aren't ready for that, then stay away. Half assing it is a quick way to dig yourself into a hole you never wanted to be in.

Got the call from the dealer. Battery needs to be replaced, wasn't strong enough to start the car with the supercharger. Oil was dripping from the oil pan, I thought it was a drip thing but the dealer said it was a viscous leak. Having the OEM crank pulley installed. They did say the split second box as ok but I still want to take it to Corey for proper tune to my car. The dealer said $910 and the car should be ok and ready for pick up Wednesday morning. Alot of these issues wouldn't of happened if I would of taken it to an authorized Vortech installer, that's me trying to save a buck.

no problems with the fuel pumps yet (knock on wood) but yea some ppl had hpfp problems more then others. but the hpfp is covered for 5 years / 120,000 mile warranty..



@brian, $910 to change your battery and fix the leak??? wow lol

That's crazy...but like said above at least the guy didn't just leave you hanging.

that includes cost and install of the crank pulley as well, plus they are going to install the under engine splash guard, and inner fenders in the front. Most of my original clips broke. I can't get the car high enough to do that under body cover.

i do it in my garage everytime i change the oil, jack the car up, put it on jackstands and then slide under it and knock it out... course I don't use a crawler or anything - just lay there on the concrete.

I don't think your lowered on coils like i am, I could be wrong though.
