Unplugged the battery for 13 hours, went to plug it in and drove to work this morning. Easy start, no stalling, and no dash lights! Could I be through the storm? My Facebook post today, supporting wood, no lights baby!!!

I saw that this AM and I wondered if it was G related.

From talking to Corey, there are 100s of maps that our G uses daily. To run boost, they just hack a few of them. When my car shut off and had the same dash lights on, he called that safe mode. I have heard it happening to n/a cars after a tune as well. Hopefully this is the backside of the hill of troubles this has been.

 

my car has gone into safe mode several times. I think i traced it to bad gas and the engine knock sensor went off. I make sure I never went to the same gas station and I have not had an issue since...


Also, make sure to check your brake fluid level. I did alot a research on here and my350z about all the slip and vdc lights coming on. Mine was indeed low and filled it and never had an issue again.

I just throw a P04020 bank1 cat code now...gay!

 

I bought a scanner to check the codes, Advance Auto had one on sale that showed the code number and description. I also downloaded an app from the droid market called torque which is really sweet. More good news got my new sides in so those should be painted and installed next week. Taken my broken Impulse sides and replacing them with ings rep sides.
