does anyone know how much road tax we will be paying on an a *** import 350gt. I am sure I read somewhere that, because there is not an exact uk equivalent, the tax will not be based on emmissions.
Can anyone clarify this, it is a bit confusing.
After working out all the cash the govt steals from me each year for one thing and another I intend to make 'em fight for every penny from now on

as far as I can remember, we are paying £400 a year. Some may have argued that as the engine etc is the same as a 350Z we should match that dependant on the year. that way some will pay £200 and the rest £400. good luck with the fight and if you do get it cheaper, please let the rest of us know how you did it.

 

Hi I did try, but it all came down to when your car is first registered, in the U.K, mine was july 06 so I pay full, if before march 23 2006 it is £215. I complained at the DVLA office but they just ask you when it was registered.
Keep trying for the rest of us, you never know!

 

£222 for 6mths due to it being registered after 2006 and being in the same emmissions group as a jumbo jet

Don't get me started on the fact I have friends driving around in 5 litre V8s paying half as much!

 

so, if it was registered in this country before 2006 I will be paying £215.

mine is £215 2003 reg i bought it in march 2006 but it says 2.6l skyline i told the dvla this and they said at the time it was not on the system
