i say get quad tips that are the same, can you not hide the fuel cell down lower in the trunk lets say where the spare is and then get custom audio work or something to work around it?

At first, i was feelin this project, it looked pretty sweet. Now as it progresses every pic is showing something more shady than the last. From the wheels, to the welds in the exhaust, to the exhaust tips (which IMHO look disgusting) I just dont see why you would spend as much money as you're spending on this project and leave alot of stuff anything but flawless.

My philosophy is to do it right the first time and you wont have to do it again.

If you're going to leave the exhaust tips with the different shapes, atleast put the Ovals in the middle and set the circles back atleast a half inch from the ovals so they dont stick out the same distance.

it does seem like this project is on a very tight budget but we'll see at the end.. if there is an end.

alot of ppl are talkin smack b/c they are dissappointed. they wanted single tips, you put quad (oval/circle). Some wanted dual tips?? Everybody has their 'taste'. Its his car he can do with it whatever he likes. It's tough to build something that everybody wants or likes but its his car nonetheless.

After watching the thread for this long, I guess I'll chime in. 1st, its a hell of a project, a monumental task and I commend you for even attempting it. 2.) Many of us do mods but very very few to this extent so while it is easy to criticize, I will not throw any stones in the glass house. There have been many many times what I though would look good had to be changed later after the fact. 3.) Personally, if you havn't created a mod from scratch you really have no idea what it entails. Just bolting up something you bought gives you little credibility. Just my .02 on the thread. Kel, keep up the good work

im not feeling your exhaust...it just doesnt look right...everything else is fine...just put the overlays on correctly...maybe you should go for an exhaust set up similar to the LS460

This is a PUBLIC forum. If you don't want to be commented on get out and don't post pics of your ride. Seriously, who goes and shows new mods without taking the heat. Do you actually know what happens over here versus my350z? Here is a guy that doesn't give a chit and maybe Kel doesn't either.
