Dude, who's dick do I have to suck to get this conversion at that price?

Seriously, that is a VERY conservative cash outlay for such a unique conversion. I was thinking you'd be 15-20 large by now. I assume the engine mounts are the same (haven't seen a comment about it yet). What about any factory wiring? I know you said you're running a standalone ECU, but I would think there has to be some kind of factory harness adaptation going on in there. What about your drivetrain? I didn't see what tranny you're using, but I would think, at 1200hp, you'd have to have it seriously beefed up, if not converted to a domestic auto (powerglide, TH400, etc.). What about your rear? I'm certain the stock diff is gonna frag under half the power you're running. What are your plans for that? I assume cryoing the... well, pretty much everything, is in the plans as well.

Excellent work. Are you doing most of it yourself?

I get the engine back tomorrow then I have to do the measurements for the mounts. not using the factory harness only the coils, as for the tranny right now i'm running with the jwt clutch and flywheel, will probably have to upgrade to a os giken dual disc clutch. as for the differential didn't get to that yet. next step after mounts are turbo manifolds, fuel system, exhaust, the drop it off to get wired up and tuned.

Just wait until stuff starts breaking ; that's when it'll start to get expensive. I wouldn't be a bit surprised for this project to go well over $20k. Kel's just getting started.

Just take it one step and one problem at a time. I think what you are doing is amazing. I wish I had the time and resources for such an undertaking.
