i noticed that before jacking up from the rear center, u used a wooden block. Is that required for the front too?

Looks good, but are those ramps high enough to do some work? Looks like they are only a couple inches higher.

If it's at least 3 inches high (two 2 x 8s high), this would be enough to get a "standard" Floor Jack
under the car.

yeah i tried stacking up two 2x4's and whenever my car tries to go up the top block would just get pushed off. Useless! And i called that place for the low profile ramps, they are out of stock.........

They provide enough space to change your oil if you dont mind being crampped. The good thing about it is that it gives people with a low car more ease to jack the car up and down.

I've been thinking a bout this some. My dad owns an aluminum fabrication shop so I think I might head there one weekend and see if I can make anything for my floor jacks and jack stands.

And for the low clearance problem I might try the idea of using the 2X4's to save money, I found some decent low profile ramps but I might hold out on buying those for now.
