I need to get my stereo set up under way and this gives me some ideas... I am up a creek though cuz all the DD finishers are on backorder for 2 frickn months...

Is it possible to custom fab the stock 04 to fit a DD in there? and do you still need the AC controls / bracket?

i have the double din finisher for 03/04 if you wanna buy it. it has the black trim for the A/C vents.

you'd still need to get the A/C control.

grubbs has the finisher for $80. i can sell it to you for the same price and whatever it'll cost me to package and ship.

man... im like on the verge of getting it.. but the problem is, i can afford the kit and all the goodies, but i cant afford a blown motor. But at the same time, its difficult to save up for incase something bad happens so my mod budget just doesn't permit it If only we had a reliable engine i'd be all over it already!

 

Yeah... I know what you are saying... This is my Daily driver as well, I have 62K miles on her already and shes an '04. I went with the Vortech instead of a Turbo since it is alot cooler running and more linier in power delivery. I am runnung the 3.12 pulley and pushing 9 - 9.5 lbs of boost. I have had NO issues whatsoever and am running on a 50/50 mix of 101 & 91 since that is what I am tuned for at all times which gets frickn expensive.

I have the Zeitronix wideband so I can keep an eye on my AF and pull up if I need to... I am running around 13 at 3500 - 5000 then from 5000 to redline it is a gradual drop to 10.5 so I am pretty safe.

I absolutely love this Kit... Not as upgradeable as a Turbo is but I have plans to hopefully hit 800whp within 3 years if I can save the money and find a belt system to hold that kinda power and not break...

P.S. I emailed that guy you sent me a link to and have not heard back yet...

Drsiful1 has one for a black interior and I might have to go that route if I can't get the willow one... I will get it painted tho to match if that is the case.
