Lowered with 350z H-Techs

today i got the g lowered with 350z h techs. so far i am happy with the front but the rear doesnt seem like its lowereed at all. hopefully the springs will settle soon...

im getting the works in 3.5-4 weeks now

just figured i would lower the g and let the springs settle now so i can fully enjoy my works as soon as i get them

They will, it took mine in my Maxima about 2wks to drop to where they are now which is perfect.

I have the h-techs too. Took about 2 weeks but the rear settled and dropped about 1/2 inch. That's fine for me as I don't want to risk premature wear on my expensive PS2's.

trim the rubber spring seat like borahatch did, his evened out nicely after he trimmed 1/2" off. I'm probably going to do the same when I install mine

my guess is that the front springs will 'settle' much quicker that the rears cause of all the weight in the front.

as for the rear, with much less weight..i think it will take longer for them to settle

ive heard of people putting weights in their trunk to help the springs settle faster

so does it make sense that the rear springs take longer to settle since there is less weight back there (compared to the front)? if thats the case..i might end up putting some weights in the trunk (ive heard of a few people doing this - it seems to make sense..)

If it's not low enough, do what Borahatch did in this thread. He got another 1/2 inch from cutting his rubber spring mount.

https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspension/114722-350z-h-tech_bump-stop.html

No idea of the detrimental effects, but sure sounds like a simple and cheap solution for a more lowered rear end.

That's the dilemna. Go too low and you will scrape on everything. Don't go low enough and you will still have a gap and regret not going lower. My DF210's might be too low. It looks sick as fvck but I scrape on everything. I have even bottomed out once which wasn't good. I'm just gonna end up doig coils ASAP so that I can adjust my height when I need to.
