Hopefully she stays clean!

Thursdays wash only lasted for 10 hours, so I had to wash her again today.

How many of you have that protective sticker thing before the back wheel? Has anyone taken it off? It already annoying me because wax and dirt get stuck on the edges and outline it.

My old car (black), and my winter beater (green).

Doesn't annoy you at all? First day I drove the car in rainy weather dirt got there and when it dried, it outlined it. Makes it look ugly.

Ah I see. Just seems like it would be more useful behind the tire. But I believe you, haha. Guess it will just be a little more work sitting and scraping wax and dirt of out there, so it blends better. Its all worth it in the end though.

I took off the top half about 8-9 months ago and haven't had any problems yet with rock chips or anything like that on OB. I think it looks a lot cleaner without it. I took it off because I got fed up with the wax and dirt outlining it too which made it stand out like crazy.

Was it hard to get off? Did you just peel it off and use some goo-gone?

I got some 3M adhesive remover and that stuff made it just peel right off leaving practically no residue. The goo-gone really didn't do anything except make a big mess for me but there are other people that had good luck using it.

Thank you sir. I will think long and hard if I want to remove then, but if I do, I now know how.
