aesthetics, remove source of squeaks, weight savings (~2lbs), shorter belt

^I did it cause it looks better and I dont see harm in saving a few pounds.

can't see mine... so far mine doesn't squeak... and 2 lbs isn't notable... benefit to shorter belt?

yeah, it just a pain because you have to remove the undertray to loosen the belt tensioner.

Sean, you can actually get it from the top, its harder but less work, I hate taking the undertray off.
