it wont hurt performance. it'll just look like...not that good.

in your case, spacers are you friends.

why not go with 20s? right offsets, cheaper tires.

offsets will just affect how your wheels look. if they sit flush with the fender or be tucked behind it. higher offsets generally means more tucked. lower offsets generally means that your wheels will be pushed out further to sit closer to the fenders and look more flush. lower offsets with wide tires can also cause rubbing. i'd go with the 20's if i were you or do more research before you purchase.
good info, guys! I found a great deal, so that's why I'm leaning towards the 19's... so what size spacers do you recommend (in case I put them on and don't like the way the offsets look)? 15mm front and back?
