Pics request: Axis Pentas on BS coupe.

Finally I've made up my mind to get the Axis Pentas for my G. I'm just wondering if you folks happen to know a picture of these wheels on a Brilliant Silver G coupe please post it as a request. I would just like to see how they would turn out before I go to the shop and get them....Thanks a bunch! They can be either 19'' or 20''s!

yep, this is exactly why i didn't buy them. i was very close to buying them, then i found out the 20s are made for our cars - not the 19s.

coupes run lower offsets for a more aggressive look. the higher the offset, the more tucked in the wheels will be.

Ok, learning something here... so what are the offsets on the pentas? and what SHOULD they be (i.e. - the OEM 19's)?

Does it only affect the looks? Or does it affect ride quality / performance / tire wear?

Pentas - 40mm F, 35mm R
OEM 19's - 30mm F, 33mm R

Can someone explain what that difference will mean in terms of ride quality / performance / tire wear? The rears seem pretty close...

I have the older Axis Supermesh wheels and they were available in a variety of offsets.

I have 19x8.5 in the front with a +38mm offset
........ 19x9.5 in thr rear with a +45mm offset.

This is a perfect setup on the sedan. It is too bad they don't make that one anymore!!

ok, i'm about to buy a set of axis pentas...
19x8.5 front 35mm offset / 19x9.5 rear 40mm offset

I know these are not "good" offsets, but how will that affect my car? I don't know much about offsets, so you'll have to spell it out for me

offsets will just affect how your wheels look. if they sit flush with the fender or be tucked behind it. higher offsets generally means more tucked. lower offsets generally means that your wheels will be pushed out further to sit closer to the fenders and look more flush. lower offsets with wide tires can also cause rubbing. i'd go with the 20's if i were you or do more research before you purchase.
