anh,

whenever you get your @$$ down to san diego.

or...when i come home in 2.5 weeks after school lets out..then you drive to my house...let's face it, riverside is empty.

car looks amazing! btw did you change out your mini city lights to a different color?

Very nice pics, Cal! Looks like you sorted through the 1000 settings on the camera. :lol: I know it took me quite a while to just do a simple pic. I still have no idea how to do anything with several of the features.

i am using the amber bulbs that come with nissan clear corners for my city lights.

thanks, cheryl. i still have no friggin clue about what i'm doing with this thing. i scroll the turny thing and it push the shiny button and somehow a picture is taken. seriously, i have no idea how to use this thing. i hope to learn quick, but i just learned that i've opened up the door to a whole new world...

Yeah I went outside taking pictures of the shrubs and stuff and took some pictures of Lee playing in house and so forth just trying to get the general jist of it. I pretty much leave it on the little green square on the dial and in auto focus. I have STILL have no clue what half of the menu settings do.

Now that you have the Rebel XTi you should look into a nifty fifty (50mm) lens. That is my next one. It's just a great all around lens and you get get it for pretty cheap for the 1.8 (as far as lenses go). Also if you intend on doing car shots get a polarizer filter too. photography-on-the.net has a ton of info in the forums, so just look around and see what people are using to help you decide what lens should be next.
