Read all 31 pages and notice no one asked this question:

Anyone with z htechs with or without spring mod drove their car during winter?

I'm wondering whether I should pay my arms/legs for coilover or I can live with htech on snow in toronto.

hahah now thats why i dont have mine on yet. i got the z h-techs which i bought like an idiot before the snow came down, and they are still in the garage untouched cause i think i might be a snow plow on the winter roads here.. but they are going in once i know there wont be any more snow.

and the winter beater will be used next winter.

^ I wish I have parking space for a winter beater.

But you do think you'll plow even though z htechs only have a mild drop?

all I know is that I am on H-techs.... very low for H-techs though and driving straight through an inch or two of snow with good tires has not been an issue BUT turning into anywhere that has snow sucks big donkey ***** because the snow actually just gets stuck all under the car.

I just gun it and hope for the best. I also dont have AWD but dont really have an issue driving in snow (I learned in a RWD pickup in Alaska) LOL

Not running any camber kits, stock shocks, and roughly 15k miles. No big issues, a bit of camber wear which can be canceled out by flipping tires..

These will be FS soon! (both springs and springmount) as I will be switching to coilovers within the next month or two!

Very helpful post!... I have similar wheels and am looking for different springs. These pics really helped me get an idea of what these springs will do! Thanks
