In that case, the springs should be settled.

Are people running Z-htechs on their stock shocks and if so, how is that holding up? How many miles have you all driven?
I'm considering the modest drop that Z-htechs offer given my car is a daily, but if I need new shocks as well, I might just go straight to coils...

Because you are lowering your car even a small amount with Z H-Techs, you will decrease the life of your stock shocks, but only by a little.

Unless you're POSITIVE that you will be completely satisfied with the amount of drop you'll get with your H-Techs, I'd recommend saving up for coilovers. I know I was only satisfied for a small amount of time before I wanted to go lower...

Before, on Z H-Techs:

After, on HKS Coilovers:

Can coilover raise the ride height back to the OEM height? What's the minimal drop on HKS? What are the good coilovers out there? I am thinking to get BC. Any input?

heres mine on 350z-HTechs + SPRINGMOUNT MOD (bought the spring mounts from someone else, I believe he said he cut .5 inch)

Not running any camber kits, stock shocks, and roughly 15k miles. No big issues, a bit of camber wear which can be canceled out by flipping tires..

These will be FS soon! (both springs and springmount) as I will be switching to coilovers within the next month or two!

^ I say 350z H-techs with the spring mount mod since you live in Brooklyn. Get a real good toe alignment and you may get away of not having a camber kit. You don't hear from too much people blowing out their stock shocks from running either of these teins,....i mean, you'll hear many recommendations, but not too many threads complaining of blown shocks. Don't quote me on that, I haven't really searched.

No you're not...I've gotta do the spring mount mod in the rear to level it out a lil bit. Its definitely lower in the back for sure but the front looks alot lower than the rear
